The three-year funding program supports direct services and programs for women; advances women's equality through research and policy development; supports education and social action on women's equality issues; and supports the development and capacity of women's organizations to effectively enhance women's equality.
Women's Community Projects funding program has been enhanced in 2010-11 to $10,000 in funds available annually.
The fund is now primarily to enhance support to eligible organizations which require small top-up funds for training, organizational development or program expenses. Organizations are limited to one application/year and a maximum request of $1000. Applications may be submitted at any time.
